MeI-Plus (C-11 methyl–iodide/methyl-triflate)
Now there’s a reliable way to produce [11C]-iodomethane (methyl iodide) or [11C]-methyl triflate …for labeling PET tracers
The MeI-Plus is an automated Chemistry Module capable of multiple back-to-back production runs of either 11C Methyl-Iodide or 11C Methyl-Triflate. The labeling material can then be easily delivered to the AutoLoop module (or another system) for methylation of the precursor. (The system includes an automatic cleaning cycle requiring less than 10 minutes to complete, and has been shown to enable up to 10 runs in a single day.)
The MeI-Plus module is controlled by the PET Chem/Series III software, which can be used as a stand-alone system, or seamlessly integrated with the AutoLoop. The advanced graphical user interface shows the sequence & flow path in real-time…and the software records radioactivity levels--and other key parameters--during the sequence.
