Minerve

The Minerve Small-Animal Environment System is designed to provide critical support functions to lab animals during the preparation stage, and throughout the imaging process.
The Minerve system is much more than a simple animal bed for pre-clinical imagers…it provides a well-controlled environment for handling lab animals, and plays a critical role in obtaining correct imaging results, while also maintaining each animal’s health.
Specifically, the Minerve system provides the following…
- Gas anesthesia delivery…for up to 3 imaging cells simultaneously
- Digitally-controlled heating…which maintains the lab animal at normal physiological temperatures, even while under anesthesia
- A pathogen-free sterile environment for immuno-compromised animals
- 3 sizes of Imaging cells: one for mice, one for rats, and one for larger animals such as rabbits
- Each imaging cell enables precise--and repeatable--positioning of the subject animal
- For MRI compatibility, a non-magnetic cell holder is available as an option
Here are just some of the Benefits…
- Minerve minimizes preparation time…and maximizes imaging throughput
- Minerve is fully-compatible with MRI and other imaging systems
- Minerve delivers hypothermia prevention with continuous temperature monitoring
- Minerve minimizes motion & position artifacts
