Microplate Reader (Chameleon V Multilabel Reader)

The Chameleon V represents the latest technology in Multilabel Detection Plate Readers
The compact design pf Bioscan’s Chameleon V multilabel detection plate reader houses up to 6 integrated measurement technologies…providing a powerful & flexible platform for the broadest spectrum of measurement assays.
Chameleon V offers the greatest flexibility to researchers…by providing access to any number of different assays, including:

- Liquid Scintillation Counting (LSC)
- Luminescence (LUM)
- Fluorescence Intensity (FI)
- Time-Resolved Fluorescence (TRF)
- Fluorescence Polarization (FP)
- Absorbance (ABS)
Using two different photomultiplier detectors--on a unique & patented optical design--the Chameleon V reader ensures optimal counting performance for both filter-based fluorescence measurements …and for ultra-high-sensitivity photon-counting in luminescence.
Choose from several configurations & options to suit your specific requirements
All models are based on the same platform, which allow customizing & upgrading as necessary. So even if you don’t start out with a full complement of measurement modes & options, Chameleon V will continue to meet your lab’s needs as they expand.
Here are just some of the key benefits of using Chameleon V…
- Chameleon V uses filter slides that are fast and convenient to exchange. Adding or changing filters can easily be done by anyone.
- Up to 20 different excitation--and 20 different emission--filters can be stored in the software…for easy access to multiple wavelengths, assays, and users.
- The Chameleon V can accommodate up to 2 automated injectors within its compact design.
- Reagents are kept safe from the instrument’s electronics…and are also kept in a light-tight environment for limited light exposure.
- In addition, all Chameleon Vs have full robotic compatibility with most stackers, robotic arms, and liquid handling workstations.
