Ted Kleinman - President and CEO
Ted Kleinman has been with the company for eight years. Prior to joining Bioscan he served as CEO of two privately held companies – one a manufacturing concern and the other an information services provider. He previously worked as CFO of both private and public companies and was the first CFO of the Manville Personal Injury Settlement Trust. Mr. Kleinman holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College, an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, an L.L.B. from Harvard Law School and an L.L.M. from Georgetown University Law School.
Dr. Seth Shulman Ph.D. - Founder and CTO
Dr. Shulman received his B.A. from Harvard College and his Ph.D. in physics from Columbia University. Prior to founding Bioscan, he was a researcher at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC. As a member of the Space Science Division, he developed experiments for sounding rocket and satellite studies in X-ray astronomy, including the 1975 Apollo-Soyuz mission. He has authored or co-authored numerous papers in astronomy, high energy physics, biochemistry, and life science instrumentation and is a co-inventor on several patents relating to radiation detection.
Staf C. Van Cauter - Executive Vice President
Mr. Van Cauter is Executive Vice-President of Bioscan Inc, Washington, DC, US. Prior to joining Bioscan, Mr. Van Cauter was Corporate Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer of Packard BioScience Company until its acquisition by PerkinElmer, Inc. He served as a strategic consultant to PerkinElmer from 2001 until 2003. He holds a Masters Degree of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Higher Institute for Technology in Mechelen-Leuven, Belgium and completed post-graduate studies in business administration at the University of London.
Dennis Rosatelli - CFO
Mr. Rosatelli is a CPA and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Seton Hall University. Prior to joining Bioscan in 2003, Mr. Rosatelli was a financial consultant to small businesses and had worked as the CFO of both pubic and private companies including United Capital Corp, a public real estate and manufacturing company and the Chatterjee Group, a private equity fund with over $1billion under management. Mr. Rosatelli has also served as director of internal audit for Shasta Beverages and International Coal Refining Company. He was also an Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen.
